Caldera no.400
No.400 Back
This is the 400th JET guitar, the first centenary Caldera model. As with the prior 3, it sports several special features and firsts: Pickups are by John Markham, these are the Cobra model and feature advanced bobbinless coils/triple magnet design. They are mounted traditionally by suspension. A true blow switch in the upper bout cuts straight to the bridge pickup's biting overdrive sound (reminds me of 1980's Neal Schon or Gary Moore tone). Big MOP blocks on a double bound ebony board, flamed maple switch knobs, Hipshot trem, and copious chrome give this beauty a deep watery look.
